A letter of recommendation!
Earlier this year, whilst gardening and lifting a heavy object, my back gave way! It felt like an electric shock was travelling through my spine which immobilised me straight away. Gradually over the following week, I did regain enough movement to resume work at home. However, each time I stretched out my arms, the same electric shock pain was back and it wasn’t improving! I had seen information at my children’s karate and kickboxing classes regarding The Shiatsu massage academe. Having heard how effective the treatment was, I telephoned to enquire about an appointment. To my relief, I was able to see the specialist within days of our conversation. And so, with a little trepidation, off I went. The practitioner treated me in a friendly but professional manor, which immediately put me at ease. After asking several questions regarding the injury, he felt each vertebra until the problematic area was located. I was then asked to lie down. My back and shoulders were massaged. Quite forceful pressure was then put each side of my spine. The cracking noises were horrendous, but it was in no way painful! A short massage then followed. I was then invited to stand. Even the task of simply getting up, which had been so painful, was eased. The sharp shearing pain was no more! I was warned the muscle would be sore for two or three days, as it was bruised, but after that I should regain normal use, and feel better. I was amazed at the success of Shiatsu massage. It’s a fast, efficient and effective service, and it works! I can recommend Shiatsu massage to anyone suffering with pain over years or from a recent injury. I feel anyone in need of relief from pain would and will benefit! Importantly to myself, I received an honest service. There were no repeat treatment trips, for the sake of other appointments. My problem was remedied, that day, and for that, I was very grateful. I am not naive enough to think all treatments can be resolved by one visit. However, I do know, when only necessary appointments are made, it is indeed peace of mind. So for anyone looking for an honest, reliable service, I can whole-heartedly recommend Shiatsu UK massage.

A letter from a sceptic!
As a sceptic of anything other than the norm, I have to say Shiatsu massage works! I awoke one morning, my neck in agony and unable to move it in any direction. This got increasingly worse during the week that followed. Pain killers, a neck brace and Deep Heat treatments were not making any difference. I knew I had to see someone about the pain. A Doctor would probably prescribe more pain killers. A visit to a chiropractor would be one of many before a solution was found. I wanted the problem sorting, and quickly! My wife had information about Shiatsu massage. It was something I’d not had any dealings with and felt more than a little sceptical. But she went ahead and made me an appointment. The practitioner was friendly and asked about the pain. He massaged my neck, told me to relax and lie down. After further massage, he then turned my neck sharply in one direction and then the other. There was an almighty cracking noise, which was a surprise, but was not painful. A little more massage followed. I was asked to get up, and for the first time in over a week, I could move my neck without the sharp pain I had been experiencing. I left with a few simple instructions, knowing that the muscles would ace for a few days, but that the pain and immobility were gone! I can’t explain it, but I can recommend it! And remember, this is from a sceptic!
